Trade Smith for someone cheap and sign Natasha Howard. Sure, Clark and Mitchell are an issue on defense, but the elite backcourt offense more than offsets any defensive weaknesses.

If it were Howard of a few years ago, I would agree but he doesn't have the legs to play the type of defence the Fever needs.Nneka is a better option for me,plays good defence and can stretch the floor

Nneka might be a better option, but she would take more shots away from Boston, Clark and Mitchell. Also, she's a really good fit in Golden State, and I think they'll offer her the max and more to come to the Bay Area.

Nneka is an incredibly player but she'll also be 35 next year with only 1 title. If the Fever presents an opportunity to compete for a chip,I don't think she'll be expecting to take a lot of shots on the team.Take Jonquel Jones for instance, she's a former MVP but has taken a back seat because she knows NY needs that from her to compete for the title,Nneka will do same

And Howard with Fagbenle helps the d.

It’s funny you can’t really harp on Clark’s turnovers in this since she barely turned it over in the playoffs

Unless Satou Sabally is not available to sign with the Fever, then maybe a solid pro and a leader like Tina Charles for a couple years until Sabally might be available. Food for thought!

They need a backup pg, some 3 and d plus maybe a big. I could see a Citron, Olivia Miles or Fudd being the pick.

It will be interesting to see who the Fever protect in the expansion draft. I wonder if teams are also looking/planning ahead to their rosters may look for the 2026 expansion draft.
