Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese is an All-Star and holds the record for the most consecutive double-doubles in WNBA history. Just how historic is Reese's recent run?
In a way. Angel Reese is like Draymond Green -- an effective outlier. Neither can shoot particularly well, but Reese is an exceptional rebounder and Green is an exceptional defender. It's hard to find a home at this level without being able to score, but both show it can be done.
Reese is grabbing her own missed shots. She's padding her stats missing easy shots that she knows she can pull back down. I just looked at the last 2 games and you see it over and over Reese missed layup offensive rebound. Repeat. She's a good player but lets not go crazy avg 1 assist a game definitely needs help in that category.
Chicago Sky fan here! Do you think that angel Reese can develop her passing and dribbling skills to unlock her offensive game like Alyssa Thomas? Or will she be stuck in the role that she currently is in as only as ruthless bucket getter in the paint?
Nothing ruthless about her 41% shooting, which, if you take away her own putbacks, would be horrendous. She has the worst shooting mechanics since Stacey Augmon. Not sure where the improvements would come from…

33% of her rebounds are from her own shots and sports analysts are eating it up calling her WMBA history making. What a joke
