I'm not too fond of any of these options honestly. I think at this point Bec deserves to be in a starting spot or at least in serious contention for such and none of these teams offer such besides CT if Bonner hangs it up. Indiana can definitely benefit from an experienced player like Allen but there's already going to be a bit of clog in backcourt personnel if Indiana drafts Clark to play alongside Wheeler and Mitchell. Where would that put Allen? Same with Washington if Cloud resigns. They could benefit from her size and shooting but she would have to come off the bench. Or move to the 4 if EDD leaves or hangs it up. I fully expect DC to keep 1 of the 2 players.

I think Rebecca Allen should return to the Liberty because she can provide 3 point shooting and defense and the Liberty are desperate for it

Allen in Indiana would be perfect. The Fever finished last in points allowed and next to last in defensive rating, so they lived with Hull's poor shooting just to get a decent defender on the court. Allen is at least as good on-ball as Hull, and Bec brings an extra element of shot-blocking. With Clark, Mitchell, Boston, and Smith, Indiana will already have more than enough scoring. Bec can mostly focus on defense, but at the same time she'll get plenty of open 3's as opposing teams try to shut down her teammates. Allen is a streaky shooter. However, when she's hot Bec can make a huge impact on offense. Allen can also provide veteran leadership for this young club. Overall, she'd be a great fit and an upgrade over Hull.

Good round-up. What you've demonstrated is how Bec Allen can bring value to a wide range of teams and situations. Two situations to note:

- With Tiffany Hayes gone, Coach Steph White could be looking for another person to step up and fill the scoring option. That might be a welcome change of pace for Allen.

- Chicago's Alanna Smith and Rebekah Gardner are both on the market, too. New Coach Witherspoon loves defensive-minded players, so Allen could fit in well, there, too.

- Indiana makes a lot of sense. Allen would be a taller and more offensive option than Lexie Hull at the wing. She could also add some steadiness to a young frontline and whomever the Fever draft at #1.
