Yep. And I totally get it. There has been a tendency from everyone -- whether it's The Next or ESPN or The Athletic -- to write with the general angle being "you need to come see this!" rather than going hardcore breakdowns of effective field goal percentage haha. But I think there's going to be major appetite as people become more interested to see the W broken down in the same way that we do with other major sports. That's exciting because I think the next wave of analysts are really going to dive deep.
Annie Costabile, who covers the Sky for the Chicago Sun-Times, has made her disdain for the Marina Mabrey trade quite clear (though presumably she isn’t widely read outside of Chicago). You can keep your $50, though!😂

Haha I’ve been told by a few folks now that I was not completely alone in thinking that trade was madness.
