Mara Braun is one of my favorite freshmen to watch, but she has started in nearly every game for the Gophers, and this article was focused on the freshmen who've helped their team coming off of the bench. In fact, Amaya Battle was my original inspiration for writing this piece, but now she's a starter, too, so I had to leave her out. I hope to cover many more talented freshmen in future articles.
