I thought Oregon would win. I didn't think it would look like this. That said, we've seen a few games this week that were close at half and then, uh, not, so anything could happen...
Not game related, but highly recommend watching Ionescu's entire speech from today's memorial for Kobe and Gigi Bryant. The clip on the broadcast was my favorite part, but Ionescu was incredibly well spoken and poised. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0m3KoK-o-Fs
Hey there! Megan here. Excited to have you all join us tonight.
Two things I'm looking forward to keeping an eye on in this matchup:
1) Sabrina Ionescu is just 9 rebounds away from becoming the first even NCAA player with 2k points, 1k assists & 1k boards - she could get there tonight.
2) In their game in January, Oregon held Stanford to just 80.9 Points Scored Per 100 Possessions, the worst offensive game for Stanford this season. Can Stanford step it up on offense tonight? I'm looking to Kiana Williams to lead the charge there for the Cardinal.
I wonder if, given how good Stanford has been against other teams, if this is just a bad matchup for them in certain ways. I haven't watched enough of these teams playing other Pac-12 teams to say, but could the matchup be a factor here?
- Oregon averages only 11.2 turnovers per game (3rd in the country). They're already at 10 in the first half. Can the Ducks take better care of the ball?
- Countdown to 2k/1k/1k: 5 rebounds to go!
- Lexie Hull and Kiana Williams have combined for 18 of Stanford's 22 points. The rest of the team is 2-11. Can someone else step up to help the Cardinal close the 10 point deficit?
Early here, but things going well for Stanford so far. They want to force Moore to shoot for the Ducks, and good offensive possessions to start the game for the Cardinal.

Can't stand when the live game action gets relegated to half the screen while the focus is on a prattling interview instead.
Triple double ✔️

Countdown to 2k/1k/1k: 1 MORE!
What a run by the Ducks here! 11-0 run to take a double digit lead - Oregon showing off some of what makes them the best offense in the country!

This is not super substantive, but Oregon's black uniforms look awesome!

What do I really not want to see? Foul trouble. Hebard and Ionescu with one early foul each.
Lexie Hull is 2 off from tying her season high - and we've still got a game here!
Thoughts on that third foul on Hebard?

Sabrina has 7 assists already. She has scored or assisted on all but one of Oregon's buckets so far. WOW
